Job Description:

- Develop and launch of new products from concept through commercial production.
- To define R&D strategies and organize project portfolio.
- Manage R&D projects and perform post launch follow-up when required.
- Continuous improvement of existing products’ performances.
- Perform technical, scientific, regulatory and competition intelligence monitoring.
- Support production in process implementation and work together for continuous and industrial scale up.
- Plan and conduct the required physical and chemical tests and analyses for product development and improvement.
- Identify, evaluate and source suitable raw materials from qualified suppliers.
- Establish product specifications and production procedures, and prepare technical documents such as TDS and MSDS.
- Oversee pilot runs and initial production batches to ensure products meet the required specifications.
- Responsible for investigation when abnormal occur in process or product and provide technical advice and support in product / process improvement.
- Support the Sales and Marketing teams with product samples and technical information.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Purchasing, Operations, Marketing and other relevant departments to support successful product development and commercialization.

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in research and development, product development or a similar function.
- Hands-on, creative and practical approach to product development and problem-solving.
- Able to read and interpret technical literature in English and Mandarin.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, scale-up and production procedures is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, innovation, problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
