VP, Market Risk Management

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the identification, measurement, monitoring, assessment, reporting, and control of market risk associated with fixed-income products, equities, derivatives, and secondary market funds;
• Responsible for accessing the whitelist limits for fixed-income businesses; conducting in-depth analysis of credit and market risks; and formulating and implementing effective risk prevention and mitigation measures.
• Monitoring asset portfolio quality and tracking post-investment credit and market risks; timely collection and assessment of client risk-warning information; and proposing proactive risk management recommendations.
• Maintaining effective communication with front-office teams and offering constructive suggestions on credit risk control strategies while strictly adhering to risk management bottom lines.

Job Requirements

• Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree or higher from a well-known institution and possess a background in finance-related fields such as risk management, mathematics, or financial engineering; holders of CPA, CFA, or FRM certifications are preferred.
• More than 5 years of experience in market risk, credit risk/credit approval at large domestic or overseas banks, securities firms, or regulatory bodies; familiar with various financial market businesses and products.
• Exhibit a strong sense of teamwork, responsibility, and initiative, along with excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrate strong capabilities in financial statement analysis and credit risk assessment, as well as a keen sensitivity to market risk.
• Proficiency in communicating in both English and Mandarin.
