岗位职责

A career in Finance Operations within Internal Firm Services offers the opportunity to be part of PwC’s end-to-end invoice-to-cash (I2C) processes, supporting core areas such as billing, work-in-progress (WIP) and receivables.

In this role, you will own and manage critical finance operations that directly impact financial accuracy, revenue recognition and cash collection. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, completeness and timeliness of financial data and processes—forming a key part of the firm’s financial backbone and supporting the firm’s ability to bill accurately and manage working capital effectively.

At the same time, you will identify opportunities to improve, simplify and strengthen these processes, contributing to automation, process enhancements and ongoing finance transformation initiatives.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders, including regional and global teams, to resolve operational matters, enhance data quality, improve workflows and support more efficient, scalable ways of working.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Associate to join our team.

This role sits within PwC’s invoice-to-cash (I2C) cycle, covering areas such as customer records, job codes, client billings, work-in-progress, timecards and receivables.

You will take ownership of specific finance processes, ensuring they are executed with strong discipline and control, while also playing a key role in improving how these processes work over time.

This is a role for someone who recognises that operational excellence is fundamental to financial integrity, and who is equally motivated to identify better, more efficient ways of working. You will be part of a team that keeps the firm’s revenue and cash cycle running accurately and efficiently—while continuously improving how it operates.

What You’ll Do

Own and deliver core finance operations

  • Take ownership of assigned areas within the I2C cycle (e.g. billing, WIP, receivables, time).
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness of financial transactions and data.
  • Maintain strong adherence to processes and internal controls.
  • Resolve operational issues and ensure smooth, consistent day-to-day execution.

Safeguard financial integrity and data quality

  • Monitor financial data for accuracy, consistency and completeness.
  • Identify discrepancies, gaps or risks, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Support strong governance and reliability across finance operations processes.

Drive process improvements and transformation

  • Identify inefficiencies, recurring issues and opportunities within processes.
  • Propose and support improvements, including process enhancements, automation or system changes.
  • Contribute to finance transformation initiatives, including hands-on exposure to business analysis and project coordination.

Partner with stakeholders across teams

  • Work closely with engagement teams and internal stakeholders, including regional and global counterparts, to resolve issues and align on processes.
  • Provide clarity on finance processes and requirements.
  • Support better decision-making through accurate and reliable information.

Work within a shared team structure

  • Work closely with team members managing related processes across the I2C cycle.
  • Ensure smooth handoffs and coordination across interdependent activities.
  • Maintain alignment across end-to-end finance operations.

Grow into process ownership and leadership

  • Build towards end-to-end ownership of a sub-process over time.
  • Guide junior team members and contribute to team delivery standards.

What This Role Offers You

  • Hands-on exposure to core finance operations that underpin revenue and cash cycles.
  • Opportunity to build deep process ownership and operational expertise.
  • Involvement in process improvement, automation and finance transformation initiatives.
  • Exposure to regional and global ways of working, with opportunities to collaborate across countries.
  • Opportunities to build experience in business analysis and project coordination within a finance context.
  • Development of structured thinking, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
  • A strong foundation to support progression into broader responsibilities, including developing managerial capabilities to lead teams.

What We’re Looking For

We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds—a finance or accounting background is helpful but not required. What matters more is your mindset and approach.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a strong sense of ownership and accountability over outcomes.
  • Understands the importance of operational discipline in financial processes.
  • Has strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills—able to question, challenge and improve the status quo.
  • Has an interest in improving processes, systems or ways of working.
  • Is comfortable working with structured processes and detailed data.
  • Communicates clearly and works well in a team environment.
  • Demonstrates critical thinking – able to question, challenge and improve the status quo.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or professional qualifications.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Excel; exposure to Power BI or automation tools is an advantage.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to finance operations, shared services or transactional environment.
  • Experience in process improvement or system-related initiatives.
