We are looking for an IoT R&D Engineer to build new smart machine & IoT solutions for clients spanning the Industrial, Aerospace, Institution & Government sectors and companies like Apple, Applied Material, Novartis, Singapore Prisons, amongst others.

Konbini Technologies (*************) builds and deploys software and hardware solutions like AI-Self Checkout systems, Smart Lockers, Asset Management checkout systems.

We specialise in software development, systems integration and machine development, and our work spans a mix of existing products and new customised solutions

As IoT R&D Engineer, you will play 3 important roles:

1. Testing of New IoT & Smart Machine solutions

You will work with our CTO to explore new ideas for products and solutions to problems, and perform testing of hardware components, machines, and software. This would involve handling and setup of hardware and wiring, and setup of software components. Experience with basic development will be very helpful.

2. Project Management & Onsite Deployment of Projects

When a project begins, you will oversee the preparation of the parts needed for deployment, and coordinate the tasks to ensure the project is successfully deployed onsite, and the customer is satisfied.

3. After-sales service

After deployment, you will help the admin team with technical input for address client feedback.

Strong attention to detail for task management, documentation and reporting

Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Electronics or Information Technology related fields a must.

Strong & deep interest and passion in hardware and software systems a must (we love hardware!)

Hands-on experience with setup and configuration of different types of computer hardware & IT Devices

Experience in handling Cloud computing/SaaS systems

Experience in technical support

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to handle clients professionally
