About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and client-focused
Investment Consultant
to provide investment guidance and financial solutions to clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding clients' financial objectives, developing suitable investment strategies and building long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Understand clients' financial goals, investment objectives and risk profiles.
Provide information and guidance on suitable investment and financial products.
Develop personalised investment strategies based on clients' needs and objectives.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
Conduct client consultations, presentations and investment reviews.
Monitor market developments, economic trends and investment opportunities.
Review clients' portfolios and provide appropriate recommendations where required.
Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals and client engagement.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions and investment recommendations.
Work closely with internal teams to support client onboarding and service delivery.
Meet individual and team sales or business development targets.
Ensure all client interactions and recommendations comply with company policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related discipline.
1–5 years of experience in investment consulting, wealth management, financial advisory, banking or sales.
Strong interest in investments and financial markets.
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Strong client relationship management and business development abilities.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated, target-driven and comfortable working in a performance-oriented environment.
Relevant financial services qualifications or certifications will be an advantage.
