Responsibilities:

• Prepare corporate and individual tax computations and ensure timely submission to tax authorities
• Review tax computations and identify potential tax issues based on relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Assist and advise clients on tax compliance matters.
• Support advisory and consultancy tasks, including handling appeals to the Inland Revenue Board (IRB).
• Research, analyze, and interpret updates in tax legislation.
• Provide tax consultancy services to clients.
• Meet with clients to gather and organize necessary information.

Requirements:

• Degree in a relevant field, preferably in Finance, Accountancy, or Taxation. Professional qualifications such as ACCA, AIA, or CIMA are an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience in a reputable accounting firm.
• Membership in a recognized professional accounting or taxation body is a plus.
• Must be analytical, well-organized, self-motivated, and able to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Able to work independently and demonstrate high levels of integrity.
• Good written and spoken communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Positive attitude and pleasant personality.
