岗位职责

The Community & Events Executive supports AKG’s Community Outreach and Partnership programmes, with a primary focus on partner relationship management, partner servicing and event execution.

Reporting to the Manager / Line Supervisor, the role is responsible for maintaining strong working relationships with existing community partners, supporting partner-led outreach activities, and ensuring the effective execution of events and engagement initiatives.

You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to coordinate activities that increase awareness and adoption of AKG’s employability services among Singaporeans and Permanent Residents.

The ideal candidate is organised, service-oriented, confident in engaging different stakeholders, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities:

Outreach, Partnerships & Events Operations

1. Partner Relationship Management

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with an assigned portfolio of existing community and ecosystem partners.
  • Serve as the key operational point of contact for partners on engagement activities, events and outreach initiatives.
  • Maintain regular communication with partners and ensure timely follow-up on requests, action items and agreed deliverables.
  • Understand partners’ needs and identify opportunities to improve engagement, service delivery and collaboration.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure partner requirements are effectively addressed.
  • Maintain accurate records of partner interactions, activities and engagement outcomes.
  • Support the Community Engagement Manager in strengthening and expanding existing partner relationships.

2. Partner Activation & Engagement

  • Coordinate and execute outreach activities with existing partners, including community events, workshops, roadshows and engagement sessions.
  • Work with partners to mobilise their communities and encourage participation in AKG programmes and services.
  • Support the planning, logistics and operational arrangements for partner-led activities.
  • Ensure agreed partner commitments and engagement deliverables are fulfilled.
  • Track and follow up on post-event actions, referrals and engagement opportunities.

 

3. Events & Community Outreach

  • Participate actively in physical events to raise awareness of AKG’s employability services.
  • Engage members of the public, explain AKG’s services and encourage suitable individuals to seek career support.
  • Support basic career advisory and service navigation for prospective clients.
  • Generate enquiries, sign-ups and programme attachments in accordance with assigned KPIs.
  • Assist with event setup and teardown, registration, ushering, crowd engagement and on-site coordination.
  • Represent AKG professionally at community and partner events.

4. Client Onboarding & Data Management

  • Support the onboarding of individuals into relevant AKG employability programmes.
  • Collect and verify required client information and supporting documents.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into relevant Event Tracking, CRS and other operational systems.
  • Follow up with clients where additional information or action is required.

5. Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Track partner activities, event participation, referrals, sign-ups and attachments.
  • Provide timely updates on assigned partner and event activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare basic activity reports where required.
  • Highlight operational issues, partner feedback and potential opportunities to the Community Engagement Manager.


Requirements:

Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge and Ability

  • Diploma or equivalent qualification; relevant experience in community engagement, events, customer service, partnership coordination or related fields is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships with partners and members of the public.
  • Service-oriented, organised and attentive to details.
  • Able to manage multiple partner activities and operational tasks concurrently.
  • Strong follow-through and ownership of assigned responsibilities.
  • Comfortable working at physical events, roadshows and community activities, including weekends where required.
  • Passionate about helping individuals improve their employability and access career support.
  • Resilient, adaptable and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

·      5-day work week, including weekends where required based on event schedules.

·      Willingness to work retail, roadshow and event operating hours.

·      Regular deployment to community locations and partner events is expected.


Administration & Quality

  • Adhere to AKG, Project and local Government guidelines, policies and procedures at all times
  • Adhere to Event Engagement objectives and meet quality standards
  • Ensure documentation on all systems are updated in a timely and accurate manner
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting on all relevant activities
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of client information in accordance to PDPA requirements
