BTKL | Beyond The Karman Line

Beyond The Karman Line is a Singapore-based creative and artist development company working across music, artist development, production, and creative projects.

We are looking for an Artist Manager to join our team and work closely with our roster of emerging artists, helping turn creative potential into sustainable careers.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands both artists and business — someone who can develop relationships, execute projects, spot opportunities, and help artists move forward.

THE ROLE

As an Artist Manager, you will work closely with artists to develop their careers, projects, and public presence.

You will be involved in everything from release planning and brand development to partnerships, opportunities, live projects, and day-to-day artist management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Artist Development

• Work closely with artists to establish their creative direction and career goals
• Develop long-term strategies for each artist 
• Identify opportunities for growth, collaborations, performances, and exposure
• Help artists develop their identity, positioning, and overall brand
• Act as a bridge between artists and the wider BTKL team

Project & Release Management

• Coordinate music releases, campaigns, content, and creative projects
• Build and manage project timelines and deliverables
• Coordinate with producers, designers, videographers, labels, venues, and other partners
• Ensure projects stay organised and on schedule
• Assist with release campaigns and promotional strategies

Industry & Partnerships

• Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals
• Identify potential brand partnerships, sync opportunities, showcases, festivals, and collaborations
• Communicate and negotiate with external parties where appropriate
• Represent BTKL and its artists professionally

Day-to-Day Management

• Manage artist schedules and commitments
• Coordinate meetings, rehearsals, recording sessions, shoots, and performances
• Keep track of deadlines, deliverables, and opportunities
• Support artists through the practical and administrative aspects of their careers

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who is:

• Passionate about music and the creative industry
• Highly organised and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• A strong communicator and relationship builder
• Proactive and comfortable creating opportunities rather than waiting for them
• Commercially minded while understanding creative work
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment
• Able to work independently and take ownership
• Detail-oriented without losing sight of the bigger picture

Previous artist management, label, A&R, booking, marketing, or music industry experience is a strong advantage.

More importantly, we want someone with good instincts, initiative, and a genuine interest in developing artists.
