Safety & Health Manager (Green Book Holder)

To manage overrall company safety & health management, into updated regulations and compliance policies to strengthen safety measurement at workplace and Review policies and procedures to enhance effectiveness of methods used in order to continuously minimise potential risks. Provide training awareness to supervisors and managers in promoting safest and conducive environment at all workplace.

Standard Specification :

• Supporting the development of OHS policies and programs for the whole company or branch
• Lead, advise and provide directions on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery etc.) for better effectiveness at workplace.
• Conducting risk assessment and enforcing preventative measures. Advise management on next steps upon getting the report.
• Review safety awareness training and awareness trainings conducted by supervisors . Look into learning gaps.
• To implement and monitor aspect of Safety Management System activities in the workplace.
• To review submission of Monthly Safety Report and Safety Statistic record for HQ record.
• To review diary detailing safety activity(s), hazardous works, housekeeping, safety instruction, etc. in place.
• To provide assistance for safety before & during internal/external’s audit by ensuring all related documents at site is updated from time to time.
• To avoid Corruption/bribery in any management process.
• To visit sites and ensure subcontractors comply to the requirements of the Safety Management System which outlined their responsibilities and commitments.
• To visit sites and review all HIRARC and Job Hazard Analysis before its execution.
