Senior Engineer Service Delivery

We are in search of a seasoned Open System Storage Resident Engineer with a strong background in data storage migration, specifically in the realms of file and block storage. This role requires expertise in managing Storage Area Network (SAN) environments and high-end storage systems. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience, possessing a deep understanding of storage technologies and a proven track record of executing successful data migration projects.

You Will:

• Lead and execute end-to-end data storage migration projects, ensuring the smooth transition of data from legacy systems to contemporary storage solutions. High End Storage products with Dell Technologies like VMAX, PMAX, Unity and Isilon.
• Demonstrate proficiency in both file and block storage technologies, utilizing your expertise to design and implement migration strategies tailored to unique requirements.
• Apply your deep understanding of SAN architecture to manage and migrate data within complex SAN environments.
• Perform comprehensive analysis of existing storage landscapes, identifying potential bottlenecks, challenges, and risks associated with data migration.
• Proactively identify potential risks and devise contingency plans to address challenges that may arise during data migration.

Essential Requirements:

• Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in data storage migration. Profound understanding of file and block storage technologies. Expertise in managing and migrating data within SAN environments and high-end storage systems. 
• Familiarity with storage protocols such as NFS, SMB, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel. 

Desirable Requirements:

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Project management experience is advantageous and relevant certifications (e.g., SNIA, EMC, NetApp, IBM) are a plus.
