Strategy Lead (Digital Banking)

Description

Our client is a fast-growing digital bank in Singapore, recognised for its innovative approach to banking and strong focus on customer experience. As the business continues to expand and evolve, the client is recruiting for a highly analytical and commercially minded Strategy Lead to join its CEO Office and help shape its strategic direction.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer & Chief of Staff, you will play a key role in shaping the bank's strategic agenda and driving high-impact initiatives across the organisation. Working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team, you will support the development and communication of long-term strategic priorities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and organisational OKRs. You will lead and support strategic initiatives spanning areas such as AI adoption, strategic partnerships, new business opportunities and potential M&A activities. You will also develop high-quality presentations and strategic materials for Board and senior stakeholder discussions, support investor-related activities, and collaborate across business functions to translate strategic priorities into tangible outcomes.

Qualifications

Degree qualified, you must possess strategy consulting experience with one of the leading MBB firms (McKinsey, BCG or Bain), with demonstrated exposure to retail banking and/or digital banking strategy engagements. Candidates who have subsequently transitioned into in-house strategy roles within banking or fintech will also be considered. You demonstrate strong analytical and structured problem-solving capabilities, financial modelling expertise and the ability to translate complex information into clear strategic recommendations. You are commercially astute, intellectually curious and highly driven, with excellent communication and presentation skills. A proactive self-starter, you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and are comfortable engaging senior stakeholders while managing multiple strategic priorities.
