Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies to ensure full compliance with all local workplace regulations.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards before they occur.
• Lead incident investigations to determine the root cause and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate and facilitate safety training programs to educate staff on proper operational and emergency procedures.
• Maintain all required safety documentation and prepare detailed compliance reports for management and external authorities.
• Work closely with project managers to integrate safety requirements into every phase of daily operations.
• Monitor the maintenance of safety equipment and ensure all protective gear is available and functional.

Job Requirements

• Hold a valid professional certification in Workplace Safety and Health from an accredited institution.
• Possess at least five years of experience managing safety operations within a busy industrial setting.
• Deep understanding of local safety legislation, building codes, and industry-standard risk assessment frameworks.
• Proven ability to manage safety audits and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Proficient in using digital tools and reporting software to track safety metrics and audit findings.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset toward accident prevention and safety culture improvement.
