About the Role

We are seeking a technically competent and service-oriented Post-Sales Server Engineer to support the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise server and IT infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

A. Server Deployment and Implementation

• Install, configure and deploy enterprise servers (rack and blade servers).
• Perform server mounting, cabling, firmware updates and BIOS configuration.
• Install and configure Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
• Perform server upgrades, migrations and hardware replacements.

B. Storage and Virtualization

• Install and configure enterprise storage systems (SAN and NAS).
• Manage storage capacity, RAID, LUNs and connectivity.
• Deploy and maintain VMware, Hyper-V and virtual machines.
• Monitor virtualization and storage performance.

C. Backup and Disaster Recovery

• Install and maintain enterprise backup solutions such as Veeam and Commvault.
• Configure backup schedules, retention and recovery policies.
• Perform backup monitoring and restoration testing.
• Support disaster recovery (DR) and data replication activities.

D. Cloud and Hybrid Infrastructure

• Support cloud infrastructure deployment and maintenance (Azure and AWS).
• Configure cloud servers, storage and networking.
• Assist with migration between on-premises and cloud environments.
• Monitor cloud performance and troubleshoot issues.

E. Technical Support and Troubleshooting

• Provide technical support for server, storage and virtualization systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and performance issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve technical incidents.
• Ensure timely resolution in accordance with SLA requirements.

F. Preventive Maintenance and Monitoring

• Perform regular infrastructure maintenance and system updates.
• Monitor server health, system performance and capacity.
• Identify and resolve potential infrastructure issues.
• Ensure system reliability, security and availability.

G. Documentation and Reporting

• Prepare installation, configuration and technical reports.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and asset records.
• Prepare implementation plans and testing reports.
• Conduct technical handover and knowledge transfer.

H. Customer and Vendor Coordination

• Coordinate with customers, project teams and vendors.
• Provide technical updates and implementation support.
• Attend customer meetings and site visits.
• Coordinate warranty claims and vendor technical support.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
