Job Title: Manager, Product Application Engineering – Data Center (APAC)

Location: Singapore

Duration: Full-time

Job Summary:

• Lead the APAC Product Application Engineering team supporting data center liquid cooling applications.
• Provide technical leadership for quick disconnects, hoses, assemblies, manifolds, cold plates, and CDUs.
• Partner with Sales, Engineering, Product Management, Quality, and Manufacturing to support RFQs, business wins, product activation, and customer onboarding.
• Serve as a technical interface with hyperscalers, OEMs/ODMs, system integrators, and strategic customers.
• Support single-phase and two-phase liquid cooling applications and emerging data center thermal management technologies.
• Review customer specifications, engineering drawings, application requirements, and technical requirements to develop appropriate solutions.
• Provide technical support throughout the quotation, qualification, validation, product introduction, and production phases.
• Identify customer requirements, product gaps, and market opportunities and provide input to product roadmap and new product development.
• Conduct customer meetings and provide on-site/remote technical support for complex applications and problem resolution.
• Drive application engineering strategy, customer technical support, engineering quality, and continuous improvement across APAC.
• Establish standardized and scalable engineering processes aligned with global business and engineering standards.
• Coach and develop the engineering team through mentoring, performance management, training, and succession planning.
• Collaborate with global teams to share best practices and ensure consistent technical and engineering standards across the region.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 6+ years of engineering/application engineering experience, preferably in data centers, thermal management, or fluid conveyance.
• Experience leading or managing engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of data center liquid cooling, flow/pressure, thermal management, materials compatibility, and engineering specifications.
• Experience with CDUs, cold plates, manifolds, hoses, quick disconnects, and fluid conveyance systems is highly desirable.
• Proven experience working directly with customers on complex technical applications and engineering requirements.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects and global stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of engineering qualification, validation, product introduction, and change management processes.
• Six Sigma experience/certification is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong English communication skills.
