Key Responsibilities :

-Develop seasonal assortment plans for the Malaysia market.

-Analyze sales performance, sell-through, inventory, and market trends to optimize product selection.

-Execute seasonal buying strategy aligned with company business objectives.

-Manage product life cycle from assortment planning, buying, allocation, replenishment to markdown.

-Monitor weekly business performance and identify risks and opportunities.

Collaborate closely with HQ Merchandising, Design, Planning, VM, Retail Operations and Marketing teams.

-Provide market insights on customer preferences, competitors, pricing and fashion trends.

-Optimize SKU productivity, category mix and inventory efficiency.

Prepare weekly/monthly business reports and buying recommendations.

-Support new product launches and seasonal campaigns.

-Participate in seasonal buying meetings at HQ and overseas business reviews.

-Ensure product assortment meets Malaysia customer demand while maintaining brand positioning.

-Drive sales, gross margin and inventory KPIs.

Requirements :

-Bachelor's Degree in Fashion, Merchandising, Business or related discipline.

-Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Buying, Merchandising or Product Planning, preferably in fashion retail.

-Experience in fast fashion, international retail or lifestyle brands is preferred.

-Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and inventory data.

-Good understanding of retail KPIs, assortment planning and inventory management.

-Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

-Able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis). Power BI is an advantage.

-Fluent in English; Mandarin proficiency is preferred for communication with China HQ.

-Willing to travel to China and other SEA markets when required.
