Job Description & Responsibilities

• Daily Shop Operations: Oversee daily shop activities, including opening and closing procedures, cashier operations, and staff scheduling.

• Staff Supervision: Supervise, guide, and motivate shop employees to ensure productivity and good performance.

• Customer Service: Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.

• Sales Performance: Monitor daily sales, achieve sales targets, and implement strategies to improve sales.

• Stock Management: Monitor inventory levels, arrange stock replenishment, and ensure proper product displays.

• Cash & Payment Control: Ensure accurate cash handling, payment processing, and daily sales reconciliation.

• Visual Merchandising: Maintain attractive product displays, pricing labels, and overall shop presentation.

• Housekeeping & Safety: Ensure the shop is clean, organised, and compliant with workplace safety standards.

• Reporting: Prepare daily sales reports, stock reports, staff attendance records, and other operational reports.

• Policy Compliance: Ensure employees follow company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and applicable regulations.

• Training & Development: Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching to improve staff performance.
  

  
  3. Job Requirements

  • At least 2–3 years of working experience in retail or shop operations, preferably with supervisory experience.

  • Good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.

  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in POS (Point of Sale) systems.

  • Knowledge of inventory control, stocktaking, and cash handling procedures.

  • Ability to monitor sales performance and work towards sales targets.

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Willing to work overtime and work on weekends, public holidays, and shifts when required.
