Job Summary

You will ensure smooth daily service operations in a Vietnamese restaurant, support team collaboration, manage supplies, and train junior staff to maintain high service standards.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily service operations effectively in a Vietnamese restaurant to ensure smooth customer experiences
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment
• Manage and monitor restaurant supplies to ensure adequate stock levels for uninterrupted service
• Train, counsel, and guide junior personnel to perform their duties correctly and efficiently
• Understand and oversee the roles and responsibilities of all junior service staff to maintain service quality
• Handle guest verbal complaints skillfully to resolve issues and enhance customer satisfaction
• Apply knowledge of food hygiene regulations and company quality standards to maintain compliance
• Work efficiently under pressure to meet fast-paced service demands
• Use creativity to address and resolve unexpected situations during service
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and take responsibility for assigned tasks
• Pay close attention to detail to ensure service accuracy and quality
• Work collaboratively within a team to achieve service goals

Required competencies and certifications

• WSQ Basic Hygiene Certificate
• Minimum ‘O’ Levels education
• At least 2 years of experience in restaurant front-of-house operations or a similar role

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Passion for serving customers (preferred as it supports service quality but is not a mandated skill)
• Positive attitude and responsibility (preferred as it enhances teamwork but is not legally required)
