Our esteemed client in the M&E Engineering industry is seeking a Project Manager/ Director (Electrical Engineering) to join their dynamic team:

• Employment Type: 3 years contract
• Position: Project Manager / Director (Electrical Engineering)
• Location: Islandwide (depends on project’s location)
• Working Hours: 5 days (Mon to Thu, 8.30am to 6pm; Fri, 8.30 - 5.30pm)
• Salary Package: Basic + Mobile Allowance + Transport Allowance* + Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee large-scale electrical engineering projects or multiple project portfolios from planning through execution and final handover.
• Manage project budgets, profitability, cost forecasts, contract negotiations, variations, claims and commercial risks.
• Review electrical engineering and vendor drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications, technical requirements and quality standards.
• Act as the senior point of contact for clients, contractors, consultants and relevant authorities, resolving complex project and contractual issues.
• Oversee resource planning, manpower deployment, equipment requirements and subcontractor coordination to optimise project delivery.
• Lead and mentor senior project managers, project managers and engineering teams, driving performance, operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to contractual obligations, quality standards, workplace safety requirements and applicable regulations.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum a Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration or equivalent professional credentials would be an advantage.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in overseeing complex electrical engineering projects and reviewing electrical engineering design, preferably in large-scale infrastructure, industrial, airport, utility or mission-critical environments.
• Proven ability to lead senior teams, manage competing priorities and deliver projects under tight schedules.
