Job Duties & responsibilities:

•  Develop interactive, responsive, and WCAG 2.1 AA accessible web onboarding journeys for Credit Cards, Cashline, and Personal Loans using ReactJS and TypeScript based on Figma design specifications.

•  Implement dynamic lending features including loan repayment calculators, credit limit allocation sliders, balance transfer calculation tools, and instant card/line approval feedback screens.

•  Deeply understand and adhere to the established digital onboarding product framework, component library, shared styling standards, and multi-step form state engine.

•  Analyze legacy J2EE server-rendered web application screens (JSP, JSTL, Struts, Spring MVC) and reverse-engineer business logic, form rules, and client validations into clean React components.

•  Implement resilient client-side form validation, session persistence, draft save/resume capability, and error recovery handling.

•  Write clean, maintainable automated unit tests using Jest and React Testing Library; collaborate with squad Automation QA engineers for end-to-end journey automation.

•  Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and technical discussions under the direction of the onboarded Tech Lead and Solution Architect.

•  Work as a cohesive team with Product Owner, Tech Lead, Solution Architect, Backend Engineers, and Test Engineers.

Required Experience:

•  3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in frontend web application development.

•  Proven experience building modern Single Page Applications (SPA) or Micro-Frontends using ReactJS and TypeScript.

•  Solid analytic skills to deconstruct complex business requirements and legacy web pages into modular UI components.

•  Hands-on experience in Agile projects (Scrum / Kanban) with active participation in sprint ceremonies.

•  Strong understanding of component lifecycle, state management, and asynchronous data fetching patterns.

•  Experience consuming and testing RESTful APIs, handling error states, and session management.

•  Familiarity with quality assurance processes and automated testing tools (Jest, React Testing Library, JIRA, Bitbucket).

•  Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams on a daily basis.

•  Experience in Banking, Finance, or FinTech domain, especially in digital onboarding or lending, is an advantage.

•  Good team player with strong ownership and accountability.

Tech Skill Sets:

•  At least 3 years of hands-on working experience in ReactJS, TypeScript, modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3 / SCSS.

•  Solid experience with React Hooks, Context API, and state management / data query libraries (Redux Toolkit, Zustand, React Query / TanStack Query).

•  Strong understanding of Micro-Frontend (MFE) patterns (Module Federation, Web Components, shell-and-remotes architecture).

•  Practical experience writing automated unit and component tests using Jest and React Testing Library.

•  Proficiency with build tools and package managers (Vite, Webpack, npm/yarn) and Git / Bitbucket version control.
