Job Description – MCI (Materials, Corrosion & Inspection) Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced MCI (Materials, Corrosion & Inspection) Specialist with 8+ years of hands-on experience across the end-to-end asset integrity lifecycle within an Oil & Gas operating environment. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in materials selection, corrosion management, inspection planning/execution, and integrity reporting, along with exposure to MCI software and digital integrity-management workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support end-to-end MCI and asset integrity workflows across Oil & Gas operations.
• Provide expertise in materials selection, corrosion monitoring/management, inspection planning, execution, and integrity reporting.
• Review and interpret outputs from corrosion monitoring, RBI, inspection, and integrity management applications.
• Work with stakeholders to identify gaps and opportunities to digitize and modernize MCI workflows.
• Support data input, reporting, and analysis using MCI/integrity management systems.
• Collaborate with Operations, Inspection, Corrosion, Engineering, and Maintenance teams.
• Contribute to improving the efficiency, quality, and reliability of MCI processes and reporting.

Mandatory Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on MCI experience in an Oil & Gas operating environment.
• Strong knowledge across the full MCI lifecycle:
• Materials Selection
• Corrosion Monitoring & Management
• Inspection Planning & Execution
• Integrity Management & Reporting
• Practical experience using or reviewing outputs from MCI applications/tools.
• Experience with RBI (Risk-Based Inspection) and inspection reporting.
• Strong understanding of operational MCI processes and stakeholder challenges.
• Individual contributor with hands-on technical experience, not primarily a people-management background.

Preferred / Added Advantage

• Experience with Meridium/APM, AssetWise, Intelex, or equivalent CMMS/Asset Integrity Management systems.
• Experience with COTS or custom-developed MCI applications.
• Exposure to digital transformation / modernization of MCI workflows.
• Ability to interpret inspection, corrosion, and integrity findings and translate them into actionable insights.
