Sleeping Lion Genting Highlands is looking for a hands-on and motivated Assistant HR Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new hotel development, contribute to building our HR operations, and grow your career in the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment, manpower planning, and employee onboarding.
• Coordinate staff orientation, induction, and training programmes.
• Handle HR operations, employment contracts, personnel records, and documentation.
• Coordinate payroll, attendance, leave, benefits, and insurance matters.
• Manage employee relations, disciplinary matters, and staff welfare.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and Malaysian employment laws.
• Oversee administrative matters, facilities and vendor coordination.
• Work closely with the Hotel Manager and HODs on manpower and operational needs.
• Prepare HR reports and assist with other HR-related tasks as required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Minimum 4–6 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in the hotel industry.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and HR practices.
• Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, hands-on, and able to work independently.
• Willing to be based in Genting Highlands.
