Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Project Quality Plans, ITPs, checklists, testing plans and QA/QC procedures for M&E works.
• Review drawings, specifications and material/equipment submissions for electrical, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC and process piping.
• Conduct material and equipment inspections, installation checks, concealed-work inspections and finished-work inspections.
• Manage MIRs, WIRs/RFIs, witness and hold-point inspections, coordinating with consultants, clients and authorities.
• Supervise electrical, earthing, piping, ductwork, equipment and system testing, including testing and commissioning activities.
• Verify calibration certificates, test reports, equipment certificates, welder qualifications, WPS/PQR and third-party inspection records.
• Issue, track and close NCRs, quality observations and defect lists, ensuring corrective actions are completed.
• Compile testing and commissioning records, as-built drawings, O&M manuals and quality dossiers for handover and final acceptance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, M&E, Building Services Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of M&E QA/QC experience with a building or M&E main contractor.
• Experience in industrial facility projects is an advantage.
• Familiar with Malaysian M&E installation, testing, commissioning and acceptance requirements, including MS/IEC, ST, BOMBA, SPAN and DOSH/JKKP.
• Good knowledge of QA/QC processes for electrical, fire protection, HVAC, plumbing or process piping systems.
• Able to independently prepare Quality Plans, ITPs, checklists, testing & commissioning plans, NCRs and quality reports.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Strong technical documentation and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage.
• Valid CIDB registration is required or must be obtainable. BEM registration, ISO 9001 Internal Auditor, welding inspection or testing & commissioning qualifications are an advantage.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
