Job Summary

Manage full accounting functions and financial reporting to support business decisions and compliance. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and statutory submissions while collaborating with auditors and management.

Responsibilities

Manage full set of accounts including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records

Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and reports for Managing Director’s review to facilitate informed decision-making

Month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial closure

Oversee cash flow management, budgeting, financial forecasting, and expense control to maintain financial health

Ensure timely submission of GST returns, corporate tax filings, and compliance with statutory requirements to meet regulatory obligations

Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks, and other relevant parties to coordinate financial audits and compliance activities

Maintain proper documentation, internal controls, and adherence to accounting standards to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance

Required competencies and certifications

Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline

Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience

Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, GST, and statutory requirements

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

Ability to work independently and manage full set of accounts with minimal supervision
