About The Job

As a Purchasing Supervisor, you will lead a team of buyers to ensure material supply continuity while optimizing inventory holding levels.

• Direct daily purchasing operations, team schedules, and buyer performance standards.
• Monitor vendor delivery performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet zero-defect targets.
• Manage direct material procurement using quotation evaluations, cost analysis, and contract negotiations.
• Resolve component delivery, quality, and payment issues through active supplier communication.
• Align material replenishment with inventory targets to maintain optimal stock levels.
  
  

Skills And Experience Required.

• Minimum five years of purchasing or planning experience within a semiconductor or contract manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record in supervising buyer teams or leading direct material commodity groups.
• Practical proficiency in enterprise resource planning software and supply chain tools.
• Applied background in vendor evaluation, inventory control, and contract negotiations.
• Tertiary qualification in business administration, purchasing, supply chain, or a related discipline.
