About the role

This is a warehouse role focused on receiving, inspecting, and managing food products and raw materials. You will be responsible for inventory management, order fulfillment, and maintaining food safety standards in a warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of food products and raw materials
• Record and track inventory levels
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery according to customer and internal requirements
• Ensure proper storage of food products based on temperature and hygiene guidelines (e.g., cold storage, dry goods)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse in compliance with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP)
• Assist with regular stock counts, cycle counts, and audits
• Label and date food items accurately to ensure traceability and expiration management
• Report any damages, discrepancies, or safety concerns to the supervisor
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively (if certified)
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, especially those related to food handling

About you

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics role, preferably in the food industry
• Warehouse clerk: 1 year (Required)
• Familiarity with warehouse software and inventory control systems
• Basic understanding of food safety regulations (e.g., FIFO, HACCP, GMP)
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
