Job description:

• Attend to customers and manage the cashier counter during operating hours.
• Key in customer orders and ensure all orders are entered correctly into the POS system.
• Collect payments and provide the correct change or payment confirmation.
• Handle cash, card, QR payment, and other authorized payment methods.
• Issue receipts and ensure every transaction is properly recorded.
• Perform shift-end cash counting and ensure sales records are accurate.
• Identify and report any cash or transaction discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Assist customers with enquiries regarding menu items, prices, promotions, and payments.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and service team to ensure orders are processed smoothly.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the cashier area.
• Follow company procedures for cash handling, refunds, void transactions, and discounts.
• Support restaurant operations during peak hours when required.
• Maintain good customer service and a professional attitude at all times.
• Carry out other duties assigned by the Restaurant Manager or Supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Minimum SPM or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a cashier or in the F&B/retail industry is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Basic computer and POS system knowledge.
• Able to perform basic calculations accurately.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Well-groomed with good personal hygiene.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
