SOLAR ENGINEER
Responsibilities
- Manage Solar System design, calculations, installation, testing & commissioning independently
- Conduct site survey and develop Solar PV Plant conceptual design in compliance with clients technical specs
- Prepare proposals & ROI and present it to potential clients
- Conduct feasibility study and simulation to finalize the design
- Work out BOM and manage procurement of solar panels, inverters, mounting structures etc.
- To oversee the solar panel installation and provide technical support
- To conduct testing & commissioning of the Solar PV Plant and monitor the performance
- Work out O&M Manuals and as-built drawings
- To guide a team for maintenance, troubleshoot and repair work if needed
- To attend meetings with clients to address their concerns with solutions and prompt actions
- Other ad-hoc assignment as and when needed
- Diploma/Degree/Certificate in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Clean Energy Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years experience with solar projects
- Good communication, interaction and troubleshooting skills
- Proficient with AutoCad and MS Office
- Self-motivated and team player
- Independent, self-disciplined and team player
