About the role

You will join a project team working on digital services project and citizen-facing platforms.

This is a fixed term contract for 1 year.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test and deploy software applications and systems for government digital services
• Monitor, troubleshoot and fix technical issues in live applications and infrastructure
• Join code reviews to keep code quality, security and performance high
• Work with UX designers to build product designs that fit user needs and government service requirements

What we are looking for

• At least 5 years of experience building modern web applications with JavaScript
• Frontend experience with React.js
• Backend experience with Golang (Go). This is a must
• Able to relocate to Singapore to meet our project team

Good to have

• Automated testing with JavaScript tools like Karma, Mocha, Chai and Sinon
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases, and handling data across environments
• Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment on cloud services like AWS or your own private servers
• Agile and Scrum experience
