Responsible for analysing and controlling product and operational costs, maintaining accurate costing records, preparing cost reports, and supporting management in cost optimisation and financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain product, standard, and actual costing.
• Analyse material, labour, overhead, and production costs.
• Perform variance analysis between standard and actual costs.
• Monitor inventory valuation and reconcile inventory-related accounts.
• Prepare monthly cost reports and management analysis.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Investigate cost variances and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Work closely with production, procurement, warehouse, and finance teams.
• Ensure costing practices comply with accounting standards and company policies.
• Support internal and external audits.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification is an advantage.
• 2–5 years of relevant costing/accounting experience.
• Experience in manufacturing is preferred.
• Good knowledge of inventory accounting and cost accounting.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
