We are seeking an Automation Control Software Engineer to develop PLC-based control solutions for customised automation equipment. The role covers system design, programming, equipment integration, testing, machine commissioning and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop PLC and machine-control software for automation projects.
• Design control architecture and select appropriate control equipment and instrumentation.
• Develop and configure HMI interfaces.
• Integrate sensors, actuators, robots and third-party equipment.
• Work closely with mechanical, electrical and project engineers.
• Perform machine startup, testing and debugging.
• Conduct onsite installation and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot control-system and machine issues.
• Prepare software, operating and technical documentation.
• Ensure projects are completed according to project schedules.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation or related discipline.
• At least 2 years' relevant experience in industrial automation preferred.
• Experience with PLC platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Omron or Beckhoff.
• Knowledge of C, C++, C# or .NET is advantageous.
• Robot-programming knowledge is advantageous.
• Able to work independently as well as within a project team.

Pay: $4,000.00 - $5,000.00 per month
