Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Network Engineer with CCNA certification to join our growing IT infrastructure team in Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. You'll work collaboratively with IT teams to support network operations while staying current with emerging technologies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues efficiently and decisively.

• Design, deploy, and maintain LAN/WAN network infrastructure using Cisco networking equipment and technologies with precision and attention to detail
• Configure and manage routing and switching protocols to ensure seamless network connectivity, performance, and reliability across all systems
• Perform comprehensive network troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve connectivity issues promptly and efficiently
• Monitor network performance and analyze traffic patterns to optimize network efficiency, capacity planning, and resource allocation
• Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, access control lists, VPN configurations, and security best practices
• Document network configurations, changes, and procedures in a clear, organized, and transparent manner for future reference and compliance
• Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to support network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements while maintaining service continuity
• Conduct regular network assessments and provide analytical recommendations for system enhancements and optimization opportunities
• Respond to network incidents and provide technical support to resolve issues within established timeframes, demonstrating resilience under pressure
• Stay current with industry best practices, emerging networking technologies, and innovative solutions to enhance organizational capabilities
• Participate in capacity planning initiatives and contribute to strategic network infrastructure decisions
• Support network automation projects and evaluate new tools and technologies to improve operational efficiency

Qualifications

**Required Qualifications:**

• Due to government project sensitivity, we will only consider Singapore Citizen
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in network engineering or network administration
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and network architecture fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching equipment
• Proficiency in LAN/WAN configuration and management
• Solid understanding of network security fundamentals, best practices, and implementation
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot network issues systematically and efficiently
• Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with VPN configuration and firewall management
• Knowledge of network performance monitoring and capacity planning

**Preferred Qualifications:**

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or higher-level certification
• Experience with cloud networking platforms and hybrid network environments
• Proficiency with network monitoring and management tools
• Knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) frameworks and best practices
• Experience with network automation and scripting languages
• Familiarity with network design tools and software
• Strong communication and technical writing skills
• Experience with incident response and network troubleshooting in fast-paced environments
• Knowledge of emerging networking technologies and industry trends
• Experience supporting large-scale or complex network infrastructures
