Core Responsibilities
Hair Care:
Shampoo, cut, style, color, condition, and provide scalp treatments.
Skincare & Facials:
Perform skin analyses, facials, exfoliation, chemical peels, and apply masks or lotions.
Nail Care:
Provide manicures, pedicures, nail art, and nail reconstruction.
Hair Removal:
Perform waxing, threading, electrolysis, or laser treatments.
Makeup & Grooming:
Apply makeup for special events, shape eyebrows, and offer personal grooming advice.
Sales & Admin:
Cross-sell beauty products, manage appointments, handle payments, and maintain client records.
Sanitation:
Sterilize tools, sanitize workstations, and keep inventory stocked. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9]
Requirements & Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or GED.
Training & Licensing:
Completed program in cosmetology, aesthetics, or beauty therapy, alongside region-specific licenses or certifications.
Skills:
Strong manual dexterity, communication, active listening, customer service, and time-management skills.
Work Schedule:
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]
