ALPS was set up in 2018 as part of Ministry of Health’s (MOH) strategic thrust in delivering value-based supply chain solutions to public healthcare.

As the public healthcare supply chain agency, we design and execute a national level end-to-end supply chain blueprint in partnership with 27 Public Healthcare Institutions (PHIs) in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate emergency preparedness and outbreak readiness, including standby drug requirements and par levels.
• Lead or support institutional and national initiatives, such as digital transformation, system implementations, and infrastructure projects, by providing subject matter expertise and stakeholder coordination.
• Ensure compliance with organisational policies, governance requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and operational oversight to the procurement and logistics team.
• Undertake ad hoc assignments and projects as required by management.

Key Accountabilities:

• Uninterrupted medication supply and service continuity.
• Regulatory and policy compliance.
• Optimised inventory and procurement expenditure.
• Effective stakeholder and supplier management.
• Successful delivery of strategic and operational projects.
• Safe and timely support of patient care through an efficient pharmaceutical supply chain.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy with minimum 10 years’ of relevant professional practice experience preferred
• A Registered Pharmacist with the Singapore Pharmacy Council
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience in engaging stakeholders
• Strong integrity and good analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisation and leadership skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
