Assistant Finance Manager (Auditors Welcomed), based in Shah Alam

Your new company

An established Malaysian fintech and payments business with capabilities across payment processing and financial products. The organisation is evolving its platform and product offerings while strengthening its financial governance and regulatory infrastructure to support its next stage of growth.

Your new role

• Lead and oversee the company's finance, accounting, treasury, credit control, and management reporting functions.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial closing, statutory reporting, regulatory compliance, and financial statement preparation in accordance with MFRS.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, performance analysis, and Board/Management reporting.
• Review merchant settlement processes and maintain strong financial controls while supporting new product and business initiatives.
• Drive financial performance through cost optimization, financial modelling, risk management, and collaboration with auditors and tax agents.

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree or equivalent in accounting, member of MIA
  
• Finalist of professional qualification, such as MICPA, CIMA and ACCA is encouraged to apply
  
• Minimum three (3) years of relevant work experience with at least one (1) year in supervisory role
  
• Posses prior experience in the payment industry
