Production Japanese Speaking Planning Engineer

Job Overview

A Japanese manufacturing company in Johor is seeking a Japanese-speaking Production Planning Engineer to support production planning and coordination. This role involves working closely with internal departments, Japanese customers, suppliers, and the Japan headquarters to ensure smooth production operations and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor production schedules to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate production plans with manufacturing, purchasing, warehouse, and sales teams.
• Communicate with Japanese customers, suppliers, and headquarters regarding production schedules, order status, and delivery requirements.
• Monitor production progress, inventory levels, material availability, and production capacity.
• Identify and resolve production scheduling issues in coordination with relevant departments.
• Prepare production reports, forecasts, and other related documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Japanese and English (JLPT N2 or N1 preferred).
• Fresh graduates are welcome; experience in production planning or manufacturing is an advantage.
• Strong communication, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Salary & Benefits

• Monthly salary of RM4,000 – RM5,000.
• Performance-based bonuses twice a year
