About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Finance Manager to join our Accounting & Finance team. You will oversee key finance activities, ensure accurate financial reporting, strengthen internal controls and provide financial insights to support business decisions. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with business leaders and contribute to the growth of a global FMCG company.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage monthly and year-end financial closing, reporting and accounting activities.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
• Monitor financial performance, costs and profitability, and recommend improvements.
• Manage taxation, treasury, cash flow and statutory compliance matters.
• Ensure effective internal controls and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and other departments to support business decisions.
• Liaise with auditors, tax advisers, banks and regional headquarters.
• Lead and develop finance team members while driving process improvements and operational efficiency.

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
• 7–10 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, including 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, budgeting, taxation and treasury.
• Good understanding of management accounting, costing and profitability analysis.
• Familiarity with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and statutory requirements.
• Experience in FMCG, manufacturing or an MNC environment is preferred.
• Proficient in SAP or other ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, leadership and communication skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented and able to work effectively with different teams.
