CASUAL WORKERS & GARMENT TAGGER / DEFECT CHECKER

Laundry Factory in Toa Payoh

We are looking for reliable and hardworking casual workers & Garment Tagger & Defect Checker worker to join our team for the upcoming peak season!

Location: Toa Payoh
Commitment Period: 4 months (Nov 2026 – Feb 2027)
Pay Rate: $13–$15/hour
Working Days: Minimum 4 to 5 days per week
No experience required – training provided!

1. Garment Tagger & Defect Checker

Weekday: $13/hour | Weekend: $14/hour
Starting Time: 8:00am (Sunday to Friday)
Air-conditioned Office Setting and Factory Set up
**Flexible working schedule, can go home once work is completed.

Key Responsibilities:

Tagging and Identification:

• Attach barcode tags to each garment before processing.
• Follow tagging guide on position to attach tag to garment
• Log items into POS system and ensure each garment is accurately recorded by type, color and brand

Defect Inspection:

• Conduct inspection of each garment for any visible defects, including stains, tears, holes, fading, missing buttons, or other damages.
• Log any pre-existing issues, defects, or special handling requirements into POS System before processing
• Communicate to customers the pre-existing issues or defects via Whatsapp
• Seek customer permission for processing for high risk issues/defects

2. Laundry Factory Casual Workers

Shift 1: Folding & Packing Team

Working Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm (8 hours)
Pay Rate: $13–$15/hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Fold laundered clothing and linens neatly
• Pack items for delivery or collection

Shift 2: Hanging Team

Working Hours: 10:00am – 2:00pm (4 hours per shift)
Pay Rate: $13–$15/hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare cleaned garments for hanging
• Unwrap wrapping cloth on garments
• Hang clothes carefully for finishing and packing

Physical Requirements:

• Able to commit for 4-month period within November to February
• Physically fit and able to handle light to moderate lifting
• Hot Environment and Standing Job
• Punctual, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
