About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic HR Director / Senior HRBP with 10+ years of progressive HR experience to comprehensively oversee our Human Resources operations in Singapore. Acting as a core Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), you will dive deep into our business strategies and co-lead global and domestic recruitment channels to support rapid expansion. You will also take full ownership of local HR functions, build a high-performing culture, and provide direct mentorship to the existing local HR team.

Responsibilities

• Strategic HRBP: Act as a strategic business partner to management, deeply understanding Singapore business strategies and providing professional HR guidance on organizational development, talent pipelines, and business objectives.
• Global Talent Acquisition: Lead critical hiring initiatives by managing both domestic (China) and overseas recruitment channels, rapidly responding to business needs, and attracting top-tier talent.
• Full-Spectrum HR Management: Oversee all Singapore-based HR modules, including Compensation & Benefits, Performance Management, Employee Relations, and Talent Development.
• Team Management & Empowerment: Direct, manage, and mentor the local HR team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Compliance & Policy Execution: Ensure all HR policies, procedures, and practices strictly comply with the Singapore Ministry of Manpower (MOM) regulations and local labor laws.
• Culture & Cross-Border Synergy: Drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement and wellness, acting as the core bridge between the Singapore office and China headquarters to unify corporate culture.
• HR Operations Optimization: Streamline HR processes and optimize department efficiency to support rapidly scaling business needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a senior HR leadership or Senior HRBP capacity.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable HR solutions.
• Deep understanding of the Singapore labor market, employment laws (MOM), and HR best practices.
• Proven track record of successfully managing, mentoring, and developing HR professionals.
• Highly strategic yet hands-on: Ability to operate at a high strategic level while rolling up your sleeves to ensure exceptional execution.
• Excellent bilingual proficiency (English and Mandarin) to effectively and frequently liaise with the China headquarters.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or relevant HR certifications (e.g., IHRP) are a plus.
• Prior experience acting as an HRBP or HR leader in a rapidly scaling fintech, payments, or tech organization.
