Role Name: Test Engineer I

Location: Singapore

Employment Type: 12 month contract (with potential extension)

Job Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Perform failure analysis on NAND related products (SSD/UFS) and identify root cause/defect in a timely manner

• Assist the engineering team to identify test failure for further engineering evaluation/investigation

• System level and drive level debugging using software programs, oscilloscopes, bus analyzers, and other diagnostic tools

• Install, modify and debug issues in Windows and Linux OS environment

• Understanding of Ubuntu/Windows operating systems and test methodologies

Skillsets Required:

· Fundamental knowledge of computer hardware.

· Basic programming experience in Python, shell scripting, microcontroller programming.

· Analytical problem-solving skills with an interest in hardware-software integration and failure analysis.

· Ability to interpret technical data, document engineering findings, and communicate project outcomes clearly.

· Familiarity with AI tools is beneficial but not essential.

• Follow established policies and procedures

• Recognize and resolve safety or environmental issues, including assistance to develop appropriate procedures and documentation

• Use available resources to complete tasks in a safe and efficient manner

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical & Electronics, Computer engineering or a related engineering discipline

• Working experience in SSD testing and failure analysis would be an advantage
