AI Product Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AI Product Manager to join a growing fintech business in Singapore, leading the development and delivery of AI-powered products and intelligent solutions across its payments ecosystem.

This is an opportunity for a commercially minded Product Manager with a strong understanding of fintech and payments to drive the adoption of Artificial Intelligence across financial products, payment infrastructure and operational processes.

You will be responsible for identifying opportunities where AI and machine learning can create meaningful business value, translating complex business challenges into product strategies, and taking solutions from initial concept through to development, launch and continuous optimisation.

Working closely with engineering, data science, commercial and operational teams, you will play a key role in shaping the company's AI product roadmap and delivering solutions that improve customer experiences, operational efficiency and the overall performance of payment services.

Key Responsibilities

AI Product Strategy & Roadmap

• Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for AI-powered products and capabilities across the fintech and payments ecosystem.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI, machine learning and generative AI to improve existing products, introduce new capabilities and solve complex business challenges.
• Translate business objectives, customer requirements and market opportunities into clear product strategies and prioritised roadmaps.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and assess their potential application within financial services and payment products.

Product Development & Delivery

• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and discovery through to development, launch and ongoing optimisation.
• Work closely with engineering, data science and technical teams to define product requirements, user stories, product specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Lead cross-functional product development initiatives, ensuring solutions are delivered against agreed timelines and business objectives.
• Translate complex AI and technical concepts into practical product solutions that deliver measurable commercial value.
• Monitor product performance and use data, customer feedback and business insights to continuously improve product capabilities.

AI & Payments Innovation

• Explore and deliver AI-driven solutions across areas such as:
• Intelligent payment routing and transaction optimisation.
• Fraud detection, transaction monitoring and risk management.
• AI-powered payment reconciliation and financial operations.
• Predictive analytics and transaction intelligence.
• Automated compliance, AML and financial crime detection.
• Customer experience automation and intelligent support solutions.
• Generative AI and AI-powered workflow automation.
• Identify opportunities to improve payment success rates, reduce operational costs, enhance transaction visibility and improve customer experiences.
• Ensure AI-powered products are scalable, reliable, secure and suitable for regulated financial environments.

Stakeholder & Commercial Management

• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to understand business priorities and align product development with wider company objectives.
• Work closely with commercial, operations, compliance and customer-facing teams to identify product opportunities and customer pain points.
• Define product success metrics, monitor KPIs and communicate product performance to key stakeholders.
• Balance customer requirements, technical feasibility, commercial impact and regulatory considerations when making product decisions.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management, with a strong background in fintech, payments or financial technology.
• Demonstrable experience working on AI-powered products, machine learning solutions or data-driven product initiatives.
• Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem, ideally including cross-border payments, payment processing, payment orchestration, digital wallets, merchant services or financial infrastructure.
• Experience taking products from concept through to launch, with ownership of the full product lifecycle.
• Ability to work closely with engineering, data science and technical teams to deliver complex product solutions.
• Strong understanding of AI applications and their commercial use cases, including machine learning, predictive analytics, generative AI or intelligent automation.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical product specifications and prioritised roadmaps.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data and product metrics to drive decision-making.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across technical and non-technical teams.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth fintech environment.
