About The Role

SHB Malaysia Automotive Appliance Sdn. Bhd. is part of a global group headquartered in China, specializing in the design and manufacture of automotive seating motors and wiper systems for leading car manufacturers worldwide. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Line Leader to oversee daily production operations, ensure production targets are achieved, maintain product quality, and drive continuous improvement within our manufacturing facility.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage daily production activities, manpower allocation, and production schedules to achieve output targets.
• Monitor production progress, resolve line issues, and ensure timely delivery according to customer requirements.
• Implement 5S, lean manufacturing practices, and continuous improvement activities to improve production efficiency.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections, support basic maintenance activities, and reduce production downtime.
• Monitor production quality, defect rates, labor efficiency, tooling usage, and implement improvement actions.
• Train and guide operators on assembly processes, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Conduct in-process quality checks, including first-piece inspection and continuous production inspection.
• Coordinate with warehouse and material teams to ensure sufficient material supply for production.
• Act as a communication bridge between Malaysia and China management teams to ensure smooth production coordination.

Must-Have

• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing or production operations.
• Experience in automotive assembly line operations is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices, 5S, standard time calculation, and production improvement methods.
• Fluent in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia for effective communication with regional teams.
• Willing to work on rotating shifts (day/night).
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and team management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
