Reception & Counter Services: Warmly greet and assist walk-in visitors, parents, and students. Efficiently manage frontline counter inquiries and direct individuals to the relevant staff or departments.
Phone & Communication Handling: Handle incoming telephone calls promptly and professionally. Take accurate messages, transfer lines, and answer basic school inquiries.
First Aid & Sickbay Support: Provide essential first aid and health support to injured or unwell students. Maintain up-to-date sickbay logs, track medical supplies, and raise procurement requests when stocks run low. Contact parents or guardians regarding student illness or injury to arrange pick-ups.
General Clerical Operations: Provide general office support, including data entry, systematic filing, photocopying, mail distribution, and logging items delivered to the school.
Student Monitoring: Document student late-coming, track early dismissals, and record daily sickbay attendance.
Chaperone Duties: Act as an occasional chaperone for students during out-of-school events, which includes accompanying injured students to the hospital if necessary.
Ad-hoc Tasks: Undertake any other ad-hoc administrative support duties as requested by the school management.
Job Requirements
Education: Minimum GCE 'N' Level certificate or equivalent.
Experience: Preferably three (3) years of working experience in a front desk receptionist or administrative function. Prior experience in an educational environment is highly beneficial.
IT Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and collaborative tools within Google Workspace is preferred.
First Aid: Ability and willingness to administer basic first aid to students (valid first aid certification is a plus).
Soft Skills & Attributes:Strong communication and interpersonal skills.A calm disposition with a positive learning attitude.Proven capability to multi-task, work independently, and cooperate well within a team.
Working Hours:
Mondays to Thursdays: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break)
Fridays: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break)
Service is not required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays.
