• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent. A higher technical or tertiary qualification in Printing Technology, Manufacturing, Engineering or a related field will be an advantage.

• Must possess hands-on experience and competency in operating and setting offset printing machines, preferably Komori, Heidelberg, Roland or other similar offset printing machines.

• Able to perform basic machine setup, colour registration, ink/water adjustment, printing quality control and basic troubleshooting.

• Able to identify common printing defects and take appropriate corrective action to maintain required quality and minimise wastage.

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in offset printing or a manufacturing environment, with supervisory experience preferred.

• Experience in managing printing operators, production schedules, machine efficiency, wastage control and printing quality will be an advantage.

• Basic computer knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office applications.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Able to work under pressure and manage production priorities effectively.

• Responsible, disciplined, proactive and result-oriented.

• Able to work on shifts, overtime, weekends or public holidays when required by business and production needs, subject to Company policy and applicable requirements.

To ensure the efficient and effective operation of the offset printing process to achieve production schedules, productivity, quality, wastage and safety targets, while ensuring that printed products consistently meet customer requirements and Company standards.

1. Production Planning & Performance:To ensure daily printing schedules and production targets are achieved.

2. Productivity, Quality & Wastage Control: To monitor and ensure productivity, product quality and wastage remain within the established targets and standards.

3. Material Readiness: To check and ensure the availability of materials required for the next production job to avoid production delays.

4. In-Process Quality Control : To enforce and monitor in-process quality checking to ensure printing quality meets specifications and customer requirements.

5. Discipline, Safety & 5S :To enforce work discipline, workplace safety requirements and 5S practices within the printing department.

6. Machine Operation & Technical Competency :To demonstrate strong technical competency in operating, setting up, troubleshooting and monitoring offset printing machines, including Komori, Heidelberg, Roland and other similar offset printing machines, in accordance with production and quality requirements.

7. Team & Operator Management : To supervise, allocate and mobilise operators effectively to ensure smooth production operations and provide machine operation support when required.
