Job Description :
- Provide mechanical engineering support for GTC, GTG and other critical rotating equipment.
- Report unsafe conditions, equipment defects and potential integrity risks.
- Monitor equipment performance, reliability and operating parameters.
- Review equipment operating conditions and identify potential mechanical issues.
- Provide technical recommendations for equipment reliability and performance improvement.
- Review OEM manuals, technical specifications, drawings, datasheets and equipment documentation.
- Ensure rotating equipment operates within approved design and operating limits.
- Support technical evaluation of equipment modifications, upgrades and replacement requirements.
- Provide technical support for gas turbines, compressors, generators and associated auxiliary systems.
- Troubleshoot turbomachinery-related issues.
- Monitor and analyse key operating parameters and equipment trends.
- Support turbine/compressor performance monitoring and degradation assessment.
- Liaise with OEM/vendor specialists during major troubleshooting, inspection and repair activities.
- Review and provide technical input for turbine/compressor overhaul and major maintenance activities.
- Provide technical support to offshore maintenance and operations teams.
- Participate in equipment inspection, troubleshooting, maintenance and commissioning activities.
- Provide engineering support during shutdown, turnaround and major maintenance campaigns.
- Prepare and review technical reports, equipment assessments and engineering recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment condition, failures, inspections and maintenance history.
- Review and update equipment datasheets, technical specifications and maintenance strategies.
- Participate in technical meetings with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, HSE, vendors and contractors.
- Ensure all mechanical and rotating equipment activities comply with company HSE requirements, PTW procedures and offshore operating standards.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, rotating equipment or turbomachinery.
- Relevant technical certifications in rotating equipment, vibration analysis or turbomachinery will be advantageous.
- Experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning and/or reliability engineering for rotating equipment.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
