Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including receipt claims, bookkeeping, and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Handle tax filing, banking transactions, and statutory compliance in line with Malaysian regulations.
• Coordinate with external accounting firms, auditors, and company secretaries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and management reports, with analysis to support decision-making.
• Support month-end and year-end closing, including account reconciliations.
• Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions.
• Assist with payroll processing and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
• Extract and analyze financial data using Excel or SQL-based accounting systems.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
• Assist with audit preparation and drive process improvements to boost efficiency.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience handling full set accounts, preferably in a BPO or multi-client environment.
• Working knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations, statutory compliance, and payroll processing.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software such as MYOB, SQL Accounting, AutoCount, or ERP systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
• Basic SQL or data extraction knowledge is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced BPO environment.
• Fluent in Mandarin (required) and English, as the role involves communicating with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
