Technician (Building Maintenance – Academy/School)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a responsible and skilled Technician to support the maintenance and daily operation of our academy facilities. The ideal candidate will be capable of handling routine maintenance tasks, monitoring scheduled work, and ensuring that all building systems function efficiently to provide a safe and conducive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of school buildings, facilities, and equipment.

· Handle electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, and general repair works as required.

· Monitor and execute scheduled maintenance tasks in a timely and efficient manner.

· Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards and regulations.

· Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair needs.

· Keep proper records of maintenance work, repairs, and service schedules.

· Assist in coordinating with external contractors and service providers when necessary.

· Support general operational tasks, including minor renovation and setup works for school activities.

· Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.

Requirements:

· Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field.

· Proven experience in building maintenance, preferably in a school or academy environment.

· Basic knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, and air-conditioning maintenance.

· Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize multiple tasks.

· Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

· Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
