Job Description

Echo Goods is a Singapore-based anime and pop culture merchandise retailer. We are looking for a responsible, proactive, and reliable Retail Sales Associate who can work independently, take ownership of daily operations, and actively contribute to store sales and marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive, and proactive customer service, actively engaging customers and supporting sales.
• Independently handle daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, POS transactions, cashier duties, and daily sales reporting.
• Manage inventory operations, including stock receiving, SKU categorisation, stock-taking, replenishment, and accurate record updates.
• Maintain store cleanliness, merchandise displays, and overall presentation standards.
• Independently create social media content for Instagram and TikTok, and manage routine updates and customer engagement on Telegram.
• Contribute creative ideas and assist in planning and executing store promotions, marketing campaigns, and events.
• Follow company procedures and management instructions, completing assigned responsibilities accurately and on time.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma qualification or equivalent.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Responsible, reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of accountability.
• Able to work independently, take initiative, and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong customer service, communication, teamwork, and sales skills.
• Familiar with social media content creation and basic editing tools.
• Comfortable using POS systems, Excel, or Google Sheets.
• Willing to learn and able to adapt to new systems and workflows.
• Able to work weekends and public holidays according to the roster.

Anime & Creative Skills (Preferred)

Candidates with an interest in anime, manga, gaming, or pop culture, particularly those with relevant creative skills or community experience, will be given additional consideration.

Examples include:

• Illustration, graphic design, or creative content production.
• Experience organising anime-related events, fan activities, conventions, or community gatherings.
• Familiarity with anime merchandise, collectibles, fandom trends, and fan communities.

Probation & Performance Assessment

A 3-month probationary period applies, with regular performance assessments covering attendance, punctuality, work quality, initiative, responsibility, and compliance with company procedures.

Confirmation is subject to satisfactory performance. Failure to meet the required standards may result in non-confirmation or termination of employment during or at the end of probation, subject to contractual notice requirements and applicable employment laws.

• Full-time, 5-day work week, 40 hours per week, excluding breaks.
