1. Undertake overall HSE and safety management for overseas industrial projects in Malaysia, including cleanroom factories, data centres, MEP installations and general EPC construction. Establish the on-site safety management system, and develop safety management protocols, special construction safety plans and emergency response plans suitable for various industrial projects.
2. Carry out daily safety inspections, hazard identification and closed-loop rectification. Enforce stringent controls over high-risk activities including working at height, hot work, confined space entry, temporary electrical works and lifting operations, with the objective of zero major safety incidents.
3. Organise on-site safety training, safety briefings and pre‑start safety talks for all construction personnel, maintain complete safety records and documentation, and fully implement the on-site safety responsibility system.
4. Liaise and coordinate with clients, supervisory consultants and local safety authorities, complete safety document submissions, ad-hoc safety inspections and project safety acceptance, and submit safety reports on a regular basis.
5. Manage site housekeeping, fire safety, construction plant and PPE. Comply with both domestic industrial construction standards and local Malaysian safety regulations to meet the high-specification requirements of cleanroom and data centre projects.
6. Organise on-site emergency drills, respond promptly to safety emergencies, conduct incident investigations and root-cause analysis, and develop corrective and preventive actions.
7. Administer the certification and post management of specialised operators, identify and correct all unsafe acts on site, and ensure compliant and safe construction for general contracting and standalone MEP projects.

Job Requirements

1. Diploma or above in Safety Engineering, Engineering Management or a related discipline. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in safety management for industrial construction, cleanroom, data centre or MEP projects.
2. Possess valid CIDB Green Card (Construction Personnel Registration Card) and Registered Safety Engineer Certificate, acceptable for project registration and supervisory audits.
3. Well‑versed in industrial construction safety codes, high-risk work controls and HSE system management; capable of independently preparing safety plans and emergency documentation for different types of industrial projects.
4. Familiar with safety management practices for overseas projects; possess basic English proficiency for external liaison and inspection hosting.
5. Strong site control, emergency response and overall planning capabilities, with a high level of accountability and execution.
6. Available for long‑term overseas assignment in Malaysia and able to adapt to various project types including clean workshops, data centres and MEP retrofitting works.
