Reports to: General Manager – Finance

JOB PURPOSE

To manage inventory, treasury operations, cash flow planning, banking coordination, GST filings, and financial reporting for the organisation’s Singapore and overseas offices. The role also involves managing depreciation schedules, maintaining financial records, and assisting with internal and external audits.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

Documentation and Processes

• Manage inventory control, monitoring, reporting, and reconciliation.
• Record all accounting transactions in Tally accounting software.
• Manage treasury operations and cash flow planning.
• Liaise with banks on banking-related matters.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations for all Singapore and overseas bank accounts.
• Calculate, reconcile, and submit monthly GST returns.
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register, including monthly depreciation calculations and reconciliations.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual management accounts for overseas operations and submit them to management for review within the stipulated timelines.
• Assist with internal audits across all offices on a monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual basis.
• Assist with external audits as required.

REQUIRED SKILLS

1. Sound knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
2. Meticulous, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
3. Positive team player with the ability to learn quickly.
4. Strong numerical, analytical, and English communication skills.
5. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

EXPERIENCE

1. A minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience in a trading company.
2. Proficiency in Tally accounting software and Microsoft Office.
