Role Description The Scaffolding Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, and reviewing scaffolding systems for offshore, marine, and energy-related projects, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include preparing scaffolding layout designs and drawings, conducting site assessments, coordinating with project managers and construction teams, and providing technical guidance on scaffolding solutions. The role also involves performing risk assessments, verifying access and working platforms, and supporting inspections, modifications, and dismantling activities. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Singapore, with a combination of on-site work at project locations and some work-from-home flexibility.
Qualifications

• Strong scaffolding expertise, including Scaffolding design, planning, and supervision skills.
• Proficiency in Working at Height practices and Fall Protection systems, with a strong focus on safety and compliance.
• Experience with Confined Space work, including hazard identification and adherence to relevant safety procedures.
• Relevant certification such as CSCS or equivalent industry-recognized safety and construction credentials.
• Diploma or degree in engineering, construction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and use basic design or CAD tools for scaffolding layouts.
• Knowledge of international and local scaffolding standards, codes, and best practices in the offshore, marine, or energy sectors.
• Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, risk management, and continuous improvement in work processes.
